Nadja Haas (Germany)

Nadja Haas is an artist, hybrid performer, poet, and dancer born in Wiesbaden, Germany, in 1970. She holds a BA in Fine Arts Multimedia/Painting from Kingston University, Surrey, UK, and a Diploma in Performing Arts Dance/Choreography from Holborn Performing Arts Centre, London. She also earned an MA from the Slade School of Fine Art, UCL, London. After 13 years in San Francisco, where she became an integral part of the dance community, Nadja moved to Berlin. She currently teaches at Dock11 and Eden Berlin, and at Velgast #Flusskultur e.V, where she works on dance films with young people funded by Chance Tanz. Her practice incorporates installations, drawing, writing, dance, and performance, and she has been part of the ‘freie Szene’ Berlin since 2011. Nadja continually develops new tactics to expand the concept of performance, often engaging with traditional texts/images, structures, and processes. Recent projects include “Every Thursday on the Bridge” (Aug 2020 – Aug 2022), “Bridging” with the collectives DASÜ, and the ongoing duet “#Nosotrosenelcuerpo” with musician Lucas Sofia (2020-22).

Isa Larpin, also known as Is Loba, is a French interdisciplinary artist working across visual art, performance, and graphic design. She holds a Master’s in Culture and Communication with a focus on Cultural Development Strategies from Avignon, France, and a Master’s in Plastic Expression (DNSEP) from the National School of Fine Arts in Dijon. Isa has also received training in Industrial Screen Printing & Graphic Decoration, Lighting Technician techniques, and Molding at the Louvre Museum Workshops. Throughout her career, she has taught applied arts and graphic design at SEPR Lyon and has worked on various visual communication and industrial screen printing projects. Isa’s solo exhibitions include Les Pérégrinations de À L’Arrache, Hors les Murs and GAG – Girls Against God, which featured collaborations with Bianca Casady of CocoRosie. She has exhibited internationally in group shows, such as the 11th World Print Triennial of Chamalières, and in various festivals across Europe and the USA. Isa’s work delves into the intersection of visual and performing arts, exploring themes of impermanence and transformation.
