Lujan Rai Dongol
Lujan Rai Dongol (b. 2002) is a Kathmandu-based painter, curator, and urban artist with experience in videography, marketing, and tattoo artistry. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Tribhuvan University, he specializes in portraiture, Nepali architecture, and traditional Paubha painting. A recipient of a merit-based scholarship, he has participated in major art events, including Kathmandu Triennale and Young Artist Show at Mcube Gallery. Lujan is an in-house artist at KAALO 101, curating and creating for public exhibitions like RIOT! and RIFF RAFF. He has collaborated on projects such as Dalit Lives Matter: Paint the Revolution and Transcultural Street Art with the European Union. His work extends to facilitating graffiti workshops at Goethe Zentrum and tattooing at Inkprovise. Passionate about cultural narratives, he has contributed to PhotoKTM 2023 and music projects with Class X Presentation.
