Alessandra Svatek, born in 1979 in Germany and raised across various countries, found her artistic home in Prague, Czech Republic since 2011. Her educational journey traversed through the esteemed halls of the Accademia Di Belle Arti Brera in Milan, Italy, where she delved into the world of paintings, and the ESAC St. Luc in Brussels, Belgium, where she explored the realm of stage arts. Alessandra’s artistic endeavors have long been intertwined with street art and interventions into architecture, culminating in her role as the Founder and Curator of Ukradena Galerie, a pioneering street exhibition project that spanned a decade from 2010 to 2020.
Her prolific career boasts a plethora of exhibitions spanning the globe, including notable showcases like “Second Tongue” at Prague House in Brussels, Belgium, “Unclear Plans For Heroic Deeds” at the White Room Gallery in Prague, and “Do Your Magic” installation at Dak’Art, the Biennale of Dakar, Senegal. Alessandra’s artistic vision is driven by an exploration of reality and perception, as she seeks to distill concepts to their purest essence, all the while maintaining a keen sense of self-irony. She navigates subtle nuances and multiple perspectives, recognizing the fluidity of truth and the complexity of human perception.
